Benefits of Various Types of Salad

Salad may be familiar to us and even many of us who love thisfood. But perhaps many of us who do not know what it actually benefits of a salad except to filling the stomach of course.

Here various types of salads and the benefits:

•Cucumber Salad

How to make it thin enough to slice cucumbers with no skin to skin or to add the onion slices and let stand 30 minutes. Give mixed of epple cider vinegar with Dijon mustard.


Cucumbers are cooling foods also help to hydrate and reduce the pressure in the arteries. Except vinegar compoundscontains anti septic and anti-biotic and also may help prevent hardening of the arteries, including the dissolving gallstones and kidney stones.

•Tomato Basil Salad

The first stage of cooking a cherry tomatoes in olive oil over medium heat until the tomatoes slightly brown, take and leave to cool and then add the fresh basil.Pour a mixture of olive oil, vinegar and some fresh oregano.


Cook is to partially split the food,in order making the nutrients easier to take the body system. Tomatoes are one source of vitamin C can help the body resistance, basil rich in luteolin, bioflavonoids which can provide the best protection in the DNA of cells from radiation.

•Fennel Salad and Plum in the dry

Fennel slices in the mix with the dry plums and pour ginger vinaigrette, olive oil, vinegar and minced ginger.


This salad soothe digestion and support to loss weight . Fennel helps digestion in 2 ways: stimulating the production of gastric juice and also calm the nervous system, adjust the action that covers the intestine muscles.Rich with vitamin C and essential minerals such as potassium and magnesium. In dry plum contains soluble fiber and insoluble fiber in a balanced proportion of preventing insulin resistance, so good for managing weight.

•Asian Carrot Salad

Combine sliced carrots with scallions, bean sprouts. Season with sesame oil and rice vinegar. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and add a few slices of ginger or chili.


Carrots including foods rich in anti-oxidants beta-carotene, which is beneficial for eye health. Sprouts rich in many nutrients are believed to produce health, sesame oil is rich in phytic acid, an antioxidant that can prevent cancer. One type of sesame oil that sesamin called lignin to radically reduce blood cholesterol levels.

•Watercress Salad with herbs Tofu

To form the spice tofu, combine ½ pound out with a ¼ plain olive oil, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon honey, 1 teaspoon rice vinegar or cider vinegar, a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of tahini. Mix until creamy and pour into the salad lettuce.


Watercress contains vitamin A and E, including minerals, calcium, magnesium, potassium, manganese, phosphorous, iodine and zinc. Also a natural diuretic which cools and overcome the excessive fluid retention.
